Wow, it’s been a really long time since i’ve blogged. I’m ready to get back on it and what better way to do that then with this. Our great friend Bzuka Joe has just dropped the first installment of Mashterpiece Theatre with Vol. 1. It’s pretty awesome and super fun to rock out to so have a listen and tickle your earbuds.

This is a badass video from a mini documentary series directed by Estevan Oriol with SA studios to promote the new killer camp movie “Machete“. Check out Mr. Cartoon lowriding with Danny Trejo (Machete) through Los Angeles in this beautifully shot piece with a chill track, and some amazing lowriders. Below that is the official trailer for the Robert Rodriguez movie Machete which really was great. It’s definitely up there as a great, campy, gore filck with an amazing cast from Lindsay Lohan & Jessica Alba to Steven Seagal to Robert DeNiro

Anyone who lives around venice im sure has heard the constant thump of the drum circle every Sunday night. Every now and then we like to head out there and partake in the shenanigans and just chill out before the work week kicks off again. It’s always entertaining when the ghetto bird starts flying overhead and hundreds of people unite to share a special finger for the boys in blue. If you’re in Venice on a Sunday evening, definitely check it out.

One of my longtime favorite typography and illustration studios, House Industries, will be opening a show at The Reserve Gallery tonight at 7pm. These guys have amazing work and got mad respect for the trade.
