Ink N Iron is always one of my favorite events. When we talk say “Respect the Trade”, Ink N Iron truely incorporates three amazing trades with remarkable examples of each. Tattooing, Custom Car Building and Music. That’s what the scene is at Ink N Iron and there is a bunch of it. You couldn’t image the amount of detail and craft that goes into each and everyone of the cars and tattoos. People from all over the world flock to hang out in a parking lot and a stuffy run down ship for the love of Ink and Iron. If you get the chance to go, I highly recommend it. Just be prepared to stand in line for a few hours. And by be prepared, I mean throw a 12 pack in a back pack and bring a bottle of sunscreen.

Obviously I can’t post all the picks otherwise you’ld be scrolling for days but feast your eyes on a few of my favs from the weekend. If you didn’t know, I’m an El Camino fanatic so I’m like a fat kid in a super fat candy store when I stumbled across Elcos like the killer green and white one you’ll see below. We where also glad to see our neighbors from the Devils Car Club representing Venice. They have got a super sick collection and are simply great guys. Besides all of the eye candy (cars, tats and pin up chicks) it was great hanging out with the girls and my homie D.Tea from VeniceRacket.com

OH… and M-CAT, you owe me a car cleaning for your drunken kettle corn shenanigans. HA!

Just stumbled across this video of Travis Barker and The Cool Kids out on Venice Beach right down the street from us.

You gotta love this. What a great way to spread a positive message. I saw this on a little stroll around the neighbor hood the other day on Venice Blvd and couldn’t pass it up. “Thugs Against Drugs”. Clearly the only thing more important then spreading positivity where a set of chrome 100 spoke Daytons.

Check out Mr. Cartoon lowriding with Danny Trejo (Machete) through Los Angeles in this beautifully shot piece with a chill track, and some amazing lowriders. Below that is the official trailer for the Robert Rodriguez movie Machete which really was great. It’s definitely up there as a great, campy, gore filck with an amazing cast from Lindsay Lohan & Jessica Alba to Steven Seagal to Robert DeNiro

Just a couple months ago my side mirror was smashed and now my window was busted out. The thing that pisses me off about this shit is that whoever did this only stole a pair of sunglasses. Not the Ipod that was in the car. Not the box of shirts in the back. Not the other two pair of glasses that where in the car. Just one cheep pair of sunglasses. Somebody couldn’t stand to live another day without some shades. You’re welcome. You owe me a window.
