Anyone who lives around venice im sure has heard the constant thump of the drum circle every Sunday night. Every now and then we like to head out there and partake in the shenanigans and just chill out before the work week kicks off again. It’s always entertaining when the ghetto bird starts flying overhead and hundreds of people unite to share a special finger for the boys in blue. If you’re in Venice on a Sunday evening, definitely check it out.

The ASA 2010 Supergirl Jam was this past week on Venice Beach. There was a tight little snowboard rail set up (with real snow of course) and an street skate setup on the basketball courts. Needless to say, these girls where killing it and way better then me in all sports so props to everyone who competed.

Then we took a little break for lunch and drinks at our favorite Venice food and booze spot the Waterfront Cafe.

And just to make sure our drinks and food where sitting well, we saw this.

We headed out to the Sunset Junction Festival this past Saturday to participate in all sorts of debauchery and to check out a bunch of live music like Big Daddy Kane, Bad Brains and Bonefish. Afterwards, we headed over to our favorite Silverlake spot for a little post party goodness. Here are some random pics and as usual, Joe ending up in the bathroom with the ladies.

One of my longtime favorite typography and illustration studios, House Industries, will be opening a show at The Reserve Gallery tonight at 7pm. These guys have amazing work and got mad respect for the trade.
